Determination | This PAC primarily benefits the fundraisers and not Democratic candidates. It is extremely inefficient at best. The PAC appears to primarily benefit two of its vendors, Frasier LLC and Momentum Campaigns. |
Summary of Assessment Findings
Note: The information below is based on FEC reports through March 31, 2026. Any PAC financial activity after that date is not included in this analysis.
- UniteDemocrats PAC has raised $2,510,797 from predominantly small-dollar individual donors across four election cycles since 2020.
- In the current cycle, just 7% of spending has reached candidates or electoral programs.
- The PAC consistently spends close to or more than it raises each period, cycling nearly all funds out quickly to vendors.
- Three vendors — Fraiser LLC, Momentum Campaigns LLC, and Switchboard — account for 72% of 2026 cycle spending.
- The PAC’s website promises to “elect Democrats at all levels of government” and “flip the House,” yet for every dollar spent, less than a dime reaches candidates or electoral programs.
- UniteDemocrats has a modest Independent Expenditure history, but 78% of that went to direct mail supporting a guaranteed-loss candidate in Nancy Mace’s heavily Republican SC-01 district.
- There is strong evidence of deceptive advertising.
- The PAC employs deceptive donor communications, including emails falsely warning recipients that their “Democratic Membership is unconfirmed” and invoking President Obama’s name, likely without authorization.
- The website raises red flags in that it provides no information on how they use donor funds.
- The PAC and Jessica Lara of Momentum Campaigns did not respond to request that they notify Steve Schear if there was anything inaccurate in this profile.
